Join us for the first Utrecht Exposome Hub Symposium on 22nd June 2018, hosted by Utrecht Life Sciences.
The exposome represents the cumulative measurement of environmental influences, including exposures from the environment, diet, and behaviour, and associated endogenous processes and biological responses throughout the lifespan.
This broad perspective on elucidating the health consequences of what we eat, where we live, the air we breathe, our social interactions, and our lifestyle choices, poses challenges to overcome traditional scientific silos and foster innovation.
This symposium is designed to introduce exposome research, to learn about state-of-the-art technologies used in the field, and to discuss future directions in exposome research. Topics include study designs, biostatistics and bioinformatics tools to measure and analyze the exposome. The symposium will be of interest to both researchers new to the field and to those already working in the field of exposome research.
The Utrecht Exposome Hub Symposium will be directly followed by the Inaugural lecture of Prof. R. Vermeulen on the acceptance of his chair in Environmental Epidemiology and Exposome Science.
